Here are the answers to the most often asked questions about Cottage Education:

YES! We have tax exempt status (EIN # 59-302558).
- YES! We are open five days a week, Monday through Friday.
- YES! We are open 8 hours a day, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- YES! We use the Laubach method for completely illiterate adults.
- YES! We teach English (ESL and ESOL) to immigrants
and migrant workers.
- YES! We tutor basic English and Math (ABE) to adult school
dropouts.
- YES! We prepare adults for a high school equivalency diploma
(GED).
- YES! We offer art classes for our retired neighbors.
- YES! We conduct Spanish classes for everyone.
- YES! We help all adults able and willing to learn.
- YES! We have 33 volunteers; tutors and administrators.
- YES! We need more volunteers for both teaching and administration.
- YES! We NEED more publicity and community awareness.
- YES! We ACCEPT grants, contributions, donations of your time.
- YES! We NEED fund-raising help and student sponsors.
- YES! We are looking for advisory board members who will make
a serious commitment to Cottage Education's future development.
- YES! We NEED desks, tables, chairs, office equipment, and computers.
- YES! We need more students. We serve over 200 students
per year. Our objective: 500 , a year, by the year 2004.
